Complex microbial Ecosystems MUltiScale modElling:
mechanistic and data driven approaches integration
Newsletter n8
In September, Gabrielle Tazza (ESR 8) and Francesco Moro (ESR 1) explained a paper combining FBA and machine learning to the modelling meeting of the systems biology lab (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam).
Vasilis Valdramidis (NKUA-UM) and Lucia Espinosa-Brisset (INRAE) met this week at the EFFoST International Conference in Valencia (6-8 November 2023).
Training event 5
On November 20th, Training Event 5 will start in Szeged. 15 E-MUSE ESRs will participate in a training session on artificial intelligence, project and stakeholder management.
Teachers from KU Leuven, the University of Szeged, the University of Bologna and NIZO will share their knowledge on different topics: artificial neural networks, probabilistic modelling, reinforcement learning, agent-based techniques and evolutionary algorithms, during this 5-days training.
We look forward to these insightful talks!
Congratulations to Alina Kyrylenko (ESR 13) who published her first research paper.
