WP1: Systems Modelling

This Work Package will be dedicated to mechanistic modelling, exploiting the collection of microorganism physiology data. Constrained genome-scale models will be implemented, up to the integration of population based-concepts.

WP1

WP2: Data-based Modelling

It will explore multi-omics and multiscale network-based, statistical and machine learning techniques to identify features (key biochemical compounds, biological components and pathways) predicting fermented food products’ properties.

WP2
WP3

WP3: Predictive Modelling

Here, we will integrate individual agent-based models (exploiting experimental data collected at multiple scales) within partial differential equation models and identify consumer-oriented process models, with specific emphasis on in vitro-in silico cheese model systems as a case study throughout the WP.

WP4: Training

To develop an efficient training of the ESRs and build personal career development plans.

The main objectives of this WP are to carry out training that will provide ESRs with skills required by the project and contribute to their future professional development.

WP4

WP5: Management

The scientific coordinator with the management team and the supervisory board will ensure the implementation of the project in smooth conditions. The management team will assure the contact with the European Commission and will be responsible for the legal and financial parts of the project.

WP5

WP6: Dissemination & outreach

In this work package all dissemination and outreach activities are coordinated, with the objective to successfully exploit results from E-MUSE, to transfer its technologies to industrial users and academic colleagues, and to inform the general public about the scientific activities and societal impact of the consortium.

WP6

WP7: Ethics Requirements

The objective is to ensure compliance with the 'ethics requirements' set out in this work package.
